SOUTHERN PARANORMAL ROMANCE

VEILED SECRETS

When fairies and demons collide...
...all hell breaks loose.

Celeste Hart yearns for a normal life, but she has never fit in because of her dark visions. She vows to let nothing stop her from discovering what she is, good, bad or evil. But she is soon distracted from her quest when sexy Eric Nordstrom charms his way into her bed. He leaves her even more confused by her intense feelings for him and discovers their one night of passion has resulted in something that will change them forever, a child.
CEO Eric Nordstrom has no interest in romance and even less in a relationship. His company has always been his focus. But he can’t stop thinking about the elusive Celeste, who has made him feel more in one night than he has in his entire life. When he learns of the pregnancy, he convinces Celeste to marry him on the pretense of keeping the company from another scandal while trying to seduce her back into his arms.
Celeste struggles to fit into Eric’s elite world and soon discovers her visions are a result of having Fae blood. When the vengeful Queen of the Fairies sends a demon army to take her unborn child, Celeste must embrace her fairy heritage and enlist Eric’s help in her life and death fight.  Suspicious of a world he doesn’t understand yet determined to protect the woman he loves, Eric joins forces with Celeste to protect their unborn child from the evil that has invaded their home.
Fate brought them together, will destiny rip them apart?

JODI VAUGHN was born and raised in Mississippi. Her deep Southern roots and love of the paranormal led her to write Southern Paranormal novels. She currently lives in Northeast Arkansas with her handsome husband, brilliant son, adopted swan, and yellow lab that is fond of retrieving turtles when duck season is over.

ANGI: How often to you get lost in a story?
JODI: I used to read every single day. Since I became a published author, I’m now writing every chance I get. But I still read, probably a couple of books a week.

ANGI: What’s the first book you remember reading?
JODI: THE FLAME AND THE FLOWER by Kathleen Woodiwiss. My mom gave me her copy when I was a teenager. I couldn’t put it down. Probably read it a hundred times.

ANGI: What’s your favorite fairy tale?
JODI: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

ANGI: Where do you read and how often?
JODI: I usually read in bed before I go to sleep. It’s my reward for writing during the day.

ANGI: Fairy Tale or Action Adventure?
JODI: Dang, that’s hard! I love them both!

ANGI: What was the first story you remember writing?
JODI: I wrote a story (actually it was a picture book) when I was in Kindergarten about a leprechaun named Ping who lost his button. My mom still has it.

ANGI: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
JODI: PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

ANGI: Who’s your favorite villain?
JODI: Loki

ANGI: What is your biggest vice?
JODI: Shoes

ANGI’S GOTTA ASK: Hey Girlfriend! Each time I speak with you I hear Jodi Foster say, "Most men enjoy my Southern."  Do you know what movie that's from? And second… Do you find that most men enjoy the very sweet southern tones of your voice?
JODI'S GOTTA ANSWER: Okay, I have no idea which movie she said that in. I’m going to guess, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. And yes I did try to google the answer. LOL!
I have no idea if men enjoy my southern accent. I didn’t realize I sounded so southern until I heard myself recorded on a writers panel. *still cringing*
ANGI’S GOT AN ANSWER: Maverick with James Garner and Mel Gibson. You should watch it. GREAT movie!

  1. Good morning, Jodi and welcome to GLIAS.
I have to admit that shapeshifters & vampires aren't my favorite, but give me a good story and it doesn't matter.

The Fae, however... that's another category for me. I love Gaelic folklore.

Welcome to GLIAS! I feel as if we should be long lost friends - we like so many of the same things. I adored your Pride and Prejudice clip. And Beauty and the Beast - Yay.
I will grab a copy of your book right away.
