Harlequin Desire Author, Joss Wood!

*GIVEAWAY BELOW*
Joss Wood is a first-time guest, but a prolific author of sexy stories that will keep you up late at night!  Her latest release is:

REUNITED...AND PREGNANT

She's pregnant…and working with her ex!
PR whiz Cady Collins's personal and professional lives both desperately need a reboot. So when millionaire Beckett Ballantyne decides to rebrand his company, Cady is determined to land the job. The only complication is her romantic history with her devilishly handsome boss, whose smoldering blue-eyed gaze still makes her swoon. And the only complication with that is the fact she's already pregnant!
Beck doesn't mind that he's not the baby's father—he only knows he burns for the mom-to-be. But when a media misunderstanding leads to a fake engagement, will Beck end the Valentine's Day charade or play for keeps?

Reunited…and Pregnant is part of The Ballantyne Billionaires series.

READ A LITTLE...

Almost a decade ago…

“You’re going back to school, Cady. That was always the plan. I’m just sending you home two weeks early.”
Cady took a step back and her eyes filled with tears. “You’re sending me home?”
Oh, damn, bad choice of words. “I’ll be home for Christmas. We can reevaluate then.”
“You’re sending me home?” Cady repeated his words, emphasizing each one.
“Christmas is in three months—”
Cady’s lips firmed and she folded her arms across her torso. “Do you love me, Beck?” she demanded.
Ah, no. Not this question. He could love her, he silently admitted, and that was why she needed to go back to the States. Falling in love with Cady, with anyone, wasn’t something he was prepared to do.
When he didn’t answer, Cady grabbed his arm, her nails digging into his skin.
Beck jerked his arm away and forced himself to meet her eyes. Oh damn, he wished he hadn't because, as long as he lived, he'd remember the betrayal he saw within them, the pain he'd caused. Cady lifted her hand to grab the fabric of his shirt just above his heart, twisting it in her fist. "Don't do this, Beck. Don't throw us away, don't toss me aside. We can fix this."
“That’s the thing, Cades, I can’t be fixed.”

It was a special type of hell, Beck thought, to watch a heart break. It was even worse when you were responsible for it breaking.

Joss has written for the Kiss/ Modern Tempted, Presents and most recently, the Desire line for Harlequin/Mills and Boon. She writes romantic suspense for Tule Publishers and has had two single title books published with Penguin/Random House’s Intermix imprint. Jan Schliesman: Do you ever get lost in your own stories?
Joss Wood: So much! When I’m in the zone, I have a movie playing and it takes all that I have to accurately translate what’s happening in my head onto the page. I laugh when my characters laugh, get angry with and for them, have shed their tears for them. What can I say, I’m nuts.

Jan: Name three things on your desk right now.
Joss: Two pieces of driftwood in a jar I collected from a beach, a wooden elephant and a pump bottle of hand cream I forget to use. And an empty coffee cup.

Jan: Do you struggle to find fresh ideas or do they come naturally?
Joss: As soon as an idea pops into my head I scribble down a short premise and pin it to my cork board so I always have something to work on.

Jan: What do you love most about your latest release?
Joss: In this book, as well as the other Ballantyne books, I’ve loved exploring what family means and the idea of love trumping DNA.
Jan's extra comment: I love your Ballantyne series! Sexy and fun!

Jan: What are you currently reading?
Joss: I’ve just finished Linda’s Howard’s Troublemaker. Now I’m sad. She’s one of my favorite authors and I feel bereft when I finish her books.

Jan: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Joss: I believe that souls recognize each other but I do believe that lasting love takes a little effort.

Jan: If you had the skills to be in any other profession, what would it be?
Joss: Last night I told my husband that if I wasn’t a writer I’d be someone who went to auctions and would bid on people’s unpaid storage units. I love junk shops and finding discarded treasures.

Jan: Best vacation you’ve ever taken?
Joss: It’s a toss-up between two weeks Vaughan and I spent exploring the Greek islands or a holiday with my kids on Lake Malawi. Both were utterly fantastic.

Jan’s GOTTA ASK: My hubby works for Tombstone/DiGiorno. What do you like on your pizza?
Joss’s GOTTA ANSWER: Everything that’s weird! Anchovies, spinach, feta… We can’t buy Tombstone/DiGiorno in South Africa, so if someone could FedEx me a couple that would be awesome!
Jan's extra comment: I'm guessing they might not make it thru customs:)

My favorite summertime treat ... strange as it may sound, FRESH VEGGIES! haha I adore getting to buy fresh corn on the cob, cucumbers, onions, squash, etc. etc. from the farmer's markets. What we get in the grocery store year round is just NOT the same.
