I do not pay that much attention to the awards an author has received. I mostly read authors or books that are recommended or given to me. I also find new authors by giveaways and just happening upon them and liking the blurb of a book.

I honestly do not pay close attention to the awards... I read the authors I enjoy and try new ones all of the time to see if they catch my interest... wish there was more time in the day to enjoy my TBR pile, LOL!
