HIS PERFECT PARTNER
Amazon

Three very different Latina sisters. Three dazzling talents with ambition—and passion—to burn. And in this warm-hearted, sexy new series, three chances to figure out if the path to success can also lead to lasting love . . .

Ad executive Tomás Garcia shouldn't even be thinking about his daughter’s alluring dance teacher, Yazmine Fernandez. Burned by a shattering divorce, he's laser-focused on his career—and giving his young daughter, Maria, the secure home she deserves. Plus, he's certain that with her talent, Yaz will be leaving Chicago and heading back to Broadway as soon as she can. But Yaz's generous spirit and caring concern are sparking a desire Tomás can't resist—and doesn't want to let go . . .

For Yaz, good-looking workaholics like Tomás simply can't be part of her life ever again. She owes it to herself to get back her confidence and fulfill the dreams her papá could not. She's glad to spend time with Maria—and taste the family life she feels she can never have. And she’s sure that she and Tomás can keep their attraction under control because there's so much at stake. But each unexpected intimacy, each self-revelation, makes the fire between them grow hotter with every step—and every risk to their hearts . . .

HER PERFECT AFFAIR

The Fernandez sisters have always had big dreams, and the talent and drive to pursue them. And in this sunny, spicy new series, each one will discover that success is that much sweeter when love follows . . .

Rosa Fernandez doesn’t act on impulse—she’s the responsible one, planning her career with precision, finally landing a job as the librarian at conservative Queen of Peace Academy, confining her strongest emotions to her secret poetry journal. But she’s been harboring a secret crush on dreamy Jeremy Taylor, and after one dance with him at her sister’s wedding, Rosa longs to let loose for the first time. She deserves some fun, after all. So what if she doesn’t have a shot with Jeremy, not with his wealthy pedigree and high profile lifestyle. But one dance leads to one kiss, and soon Rosa is head-over-heels . . .

The adopted son of a prominent Chicago lawyer, Jeremy has a lot to live up to—especially with his birth father in prison—the perfect example of a bad example. With a big promotion and a move to Japan in the works, Jeremy is worlds away from settling down. But sweet, steady Rosa is a temptation he doesn’t want to deny himself, at least for now. Yet when their simple fling turns complicated, everything they’ve both worked for is threatened—except the red-hot intimacy they’ve found together. Can forever really grow from just-for-now?

THE Q&A
ANGI: What’s your favorite thing about your book’s hero?
PRISCILLA:  I’m really drawn to Tomás’s commitment to his family. He would walk through fire for his daughter Maria and as soon as his life entwines with Yazmine’s, it quickly becomes apparent that he’d do the same for her and her family.

ANGI: What’s your perfect day?
PRISCILLA:  My perfect day involves a sunny day at the beach with a comfy lounger, a good book, a big umbrella so I can stay out all day & not burn, family,  friends, and adult beverages. #priceless

ANGI: Salad or soup?
PRISCILLA:  While I love the soup Papi makes in His Perfect Partner, I’d probably have to go with salad. Greek salad, citrus chicken salad, Thai chicken salad, fruit salad, cucumber salad…I think pretty much any kind.

ANGI: Would you put yourself in a Fairy Tale or Action Adventure?
PRISCILLA:  Fairy tale. I’m more soft-hearted than put-up-your-dukes-minded. There are times I’d like to be a little more kick butt, though more often than not I lean toward helping to find compromise or make everyone happy (card carrying member of the rose-colored glasses society here). The HEA is a big part of why I write romances.

ANGI: Favorite TV rerun you watch every time you channel surf?
PRISCILLA:  Oh gosh, if I’m flipping through channels a “Friends” episode will suck me in. Every time.

ANGI: Favorite date night…fancy or at home?

PRISCILLA:  I’m almost always up for an evening out salsa dancing. Then again, I’ve been known to salsa dance in my living room, so that could easily be an intimate, fun-filled night at home, too.

ANGI: Champagne or Soda?
PRISCILLA:  Champagne! Most definitely!

ANGI: Geek or Jock?
PRISCILLA:  I’m a huge sports fan, so I’d go with the jock. ESPN or a Cubs baseball game is typically what’s on my TV or cell. If I went with the geek, I’d worry that he’d get bored with all my sports talk.

ANGI: The most daring thing you’ve ever done… Care to share?
PRISCILLA:  I’m not the biggest risk taker. I’d like to be. Funny, while this question made part of me nervous, there’s another side thinking, “Hmmmm, imagine the possibilities. Let’s give something a try!” ;-)

ANGI’s GOTTA ASK:  What’s your favorite pair of shoes & why?
PRISCILLA’S GOTTA ANSWER: Oooh, this is a hard one.  Do I pick my running shoes because they help me work off writing snacks & provide great thinking time when I hit the road? Or, do I choose a pair of dancing heels for the fun nights I stay out late with friends refilling my emotional and creative well on the dance floor? Better yet, I’ll go with my Nike cross-trainers because those are what I wear for zumba, the best of both worlds! ;-)

  2. It was wonderful to hear from an author that I have not read. A perfect day with my husband would be just taking a drive we haven;t done that in several years as the trans doesn't have rev in our car. So that is why I can't go to the store with him as he parks so far away. So taking the pups and looking at changing trees. Thank you Priscilla for spending a day at GLIAS! Peggy Clayton

    1. Peggy, enjoying the fall foliage with your pups sounds like a relaxing way to spend time together! When I can't make it to the beach but I need some emotional well refilling, I've been known to sit quietly in a chair, close my eyes and imagine myself back on the beaches of Puerto Rico as a child. I can hear the waves. Feel the breeze. Catch my sister's laughter. And it's almost like I'm back there again.

Thanks for stopping by today! May you have some time to Get Lost in a Story soon! XO

  4. I love the beach, so my perfect day would be spent sitting under an umbrella reading or writing, taking a walk with my perfect guy, and riding some great waves and not getting sunburned. ;)
