DO YOU LOVE GHOST SAGAS?

GOODBYE, MY LOVE
Roxanne’s Ghost Saga #1

A love that cannot be denied ~ and a love that cannot be. Who will win? It’s only a matter of time.

Jessica James needs a new job and her only prospect as a nanny is with a remotely located veterinarian who only wants a “mature” candidate. But youthful Jess has faced tougher challenges, and she is determined to show the very handsome yet rude widower that she is the perfect choice to care for his autistic 4-year-old daughter, no matter how much he scowls.

Dr. Ben Arnold is still grieving, and not only about the recent death of his beautiful wife. He is still coping with the knowledge his profound love for her was unreciprocated. The demands of working and taking care of Amber, his autistic young daughter, have Ben overwhelmed and the last thing he needs is an insanely strong physical reaction to a nanny who is the first to seem to connect with his beloved delicate daughter – and the last he thinks he can handle in his life.

Jess is an unseasonal storm to suddenly sweep through Ben’s life, and may be the balm he needs. While strange occurrences all around them defy answers and explanations, the unexpected arrival of Ben’s late wife’s sisters, including her identical twin, on the one-year anniversary of her death does nothing to help dispel the intense and instant desire between Jess and Ben – and Jess’ glimpses of a lifelong past only adds to the surreal sense of the estate called Weltevreden.

PS: I LOVE YOU
Roxanne’s Ghost Saga #2

She found her! Jess saw Roxanne in one of her visions. Ben was wrong and the odd-ball sisters-in-law, believe it or not, were right—Roxanne wasn’t dead! But where Jess saw her she could never come home from. She was as good as dead to Ben, because Roxanne couldn’t be his wife again, ever. If only Jess could find a way to make him understand, but he wouldn’t even listen to her. Amber, Ben’s 4 year old autistic daughter was in trouble. Her development regressed drastically and Jess hoped it wouldn’t be permanent. Trying to take the child away from the influence of her aunts, she found that she couldn’t leave the house. She, and Amber, were trapped at Weltevreden.

Was this what Ethel, the old housekeeper, meant on the day Jess arrived when she told her Jess would never leave again? The sisters wanted to do her in, but she was trapped and at their mercy? And then Ethel decided that she was living her final day, and that there was one more thing she had to do. Can a person do that? Can you decide when it was time to die? And what was the last thing she had to do? And after she was gone… Would the sisters’ plan for Ben and Amber finally be revealed?

MAGGIE TIDESWELL is a South African author with a passion for romance. All over the world people are falling in love, even the birds and the bees are doing it. Ghosts just can't seem to leave her alone and she combines things that can't be explained, sweaty bodies and rumpled beds in a way that will make your toes curl and your hair stand on end.

Maggie just can't do without perfume, coffee and the internet. She is nearly as passionate about food as she is about creating alpha heroes every woman will fall in love with, just as she does, every time. The strangest thing is that cats have never played any kind of role in her stories, as she is owned by three of them. That might change soon.

THE Q&A
ANGI: How often to you get lost in a story?
MAGGIE: Every time I pick up a book – and I read a lot. I’m one of those people who can’t get to sleep without a book in my hand, literally. My husband is great at turning the light off, putting the book and my glasses away without waking me.

ANGI: What’s your favorite thing about your book’s hero?
MAGGIE: He is a true South African. He walks around barefoot and shirtless (and no woman will complain about the vision of him), he loves as hard as he trusts and he loves animals.

ANGI: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
MAGGIE: The Sound of Music. I must have watched it a million times. It is the perfect romance.
A rainy Sunday, which means no work, pajamas till lunchtime, and writing without interruption. Bliss.

ANGI: Salad or soup?
MAGGIE: Can I have both, please?

ANGI: Favorite TV rerun you watch every time you channel surf?
MAGGIE: Grease seems to pop up on my screen very often. I know every song, every line if dialogue.

ANGI: Favorite date night…fancy or at home?
MAGGIE: No, fancy, a restaurant with tablecloths on the tables. At home isn’t a date, it’s ordinary, everyday. And married to a chef, my cooking skills are too humble.

ANGI: Geek or Jock?
MAGGIE: Jock. I’m a bit, well, romantic, and a jock fits the profile. Not that I have anything against geeks – I am a bit geeky myself.

ANGI’s GOTTA ASK:  Where is your favorite writing space & why?
MAGGIE’S GOTTA ANSWER:
My study. Never before have I had a study and my writing corner was the corner of the lounge or the dining room table. Now, in my new house, I have a study, with a view of the garden. And it doesn’t matter how many scraps of paper I stick to the walls or how many maps and pictures of places are laying around.
