Get Lost in the Dreams and Nightmares!

Folks, give a warm welcome to today's blog guest, Jennah Scott!

BIO
Born and raised in Texas, Jennah is a transplant to Missouri long enough ago she should probably consider that her hometown. But she will forever be a Texan. She loves to write any story that will make a reader smile, laugh, and maybe even cry (although you won't ever hear her admit that she cries). Whether the next story she writes is contemporary, urban fantasy, LGBT, or whatever other crazy idea she comes up with, there will always be love and romance in the midst of trials and turmoil.

When she's not writing you can find her on Twitter, with her family, or buried in a book trying to escape reality for just a minute.

THE BLURB
Dreams and nightmares are like twilight; that misty place between fantasy and reality.

When your mind takes you on an adventure you didn’t sign up for and you become someone or something else, it can be delectable, terrifying, or both.
Dreaming of that sexy bad boy who seems out of reach? Be careful what you wish for, sometimes dreams really do come true. If you have the time, we have the past life to seduce you. Whether your fantasy is a lustful mermaid, an irresistible incubus, a vampiric predator, or an insatiable ghost hold on tight. You are on the most erotic ride of your life.

When your desires blend so thoroughly with the truth that you don’t know the difference, that’s when romance is but a dream.

AND NOW FOR THE Q  & A...
Alexa: How often to you get lost in a story?
Jennah: Every time I write a story and most of the books I read!

Alexa: What’s the first book you remember reading?
Jennah: R.L. Stine Fear Street series. I know this isn’t the absolute first book I read, but it’s definitely one series that’s stuck with me!

Alexa: Where do you read and how often?
Jennah:  Anywhere and as often as I can!

Alexa: What are the next five books on your ‘to be read’ pile?
Jennah: Frisky Business by Tawna Fenske, Penance by Ann Mayburn, Fire Inside by Kristen Ashley, Night Broken by Patricia Briggs, Jaguar Hunt by Terry Spear

Alexa: What dreams have been realized as a result of your writing?
Jennah: I get to work from home, be with my family, and do a job I actually love. Writing has always been something I’ve wanted to do and now I get to do that!

Alexa: What could we find in your heroine's purse?
Jennah: Kelsey’s a simple woman. You’d find her cell phone, a tube of lip gloss, and a headphones.

Alexa: Be honest, when reading...do you put yourself in the heroine’s role?
Jennah: Heck yeah I do! My heroines know how to have fun and they almost always get exactly what they want.

Alexa: What is your hero’s “kryptonite” – in other words, what will bring him instantly to his knees?
Jennah: I’ve got two heroes in this story. Griffyn’s kryptonite is a damsel in distress. He’s an MMA fighter with a younger sister. The guy will stop whatever he’s doing to help a woman who’s in distress, even in the middle of a fight which could bring him literally to his knees.  Tate’s kryptonite is someone he cares about who’s in pain, no matter physical or emotional, and tears—male or female. The man cannot handle tears.

Alexa: Which of your characters would you most/least to invite to dinner, and why?
Jennah: I would invite Tate and Kelsey to dinner because they are laid back and easy going. As much as I love Griffyn, I’d be least likely to invite him to dinner because he’s controlling and can be a real pain in the butt when he doesn’t get his way.

Alexa: What's up next for you, Jennah?
Jennah: My next release is Unexpected Vacation from Ellora’s Cave. It will be available June 6th.

Alexa: Got a question for your fans?
Jennah: What makes a story so good you get lost in it? The characters? The plot?
