Donna Gartshore loves reading and writing. She also writes short stories, poetry and devotions. She often veers off to the book section in the grocery store when she should be buying food. THE Q&A
ANGI: How often to you get lost in a story?
DONNA:  A bit ironically, now that I’m writing more, I have less time to read. But I have a constant TBR pile on the go and often will be reading at least two books at the same time. It just takes me longer to finish a book than it used to.

ANGI: What’s your favorite thing about your book’s hero?
DONNA:  I love Paul’s vulnerability and the fact that he is so protective of Tyson and  ultimately willing to put his pride on the line so that he can be a better guardian.

ANGI: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
DONNA:  Ooh, that’s a tough one – movie I don’t know, but I will say that my all-time favorite TV series is Gilmore Girls.

ANGI: What’s your perfect day?
DONNA:  A perfect day to me is one that’s unstructured, unscheduled. I’m such a homebody at heart and I love having time to read, write, spend time with family, do Bible study, watch a good cozy mystery etc.

ANGI: Salad or soup?
DONNA:  Soup!

ANGI: Would you put yourself in a Fairy Tale or Action Adventure?
DONNA:  Probably a fairy tale

ANGI: Favorite TV rerun you watch every time you channel surf?
DONNA:  Gilmore Girls, as mentioned above. I also tend to re-watch many of the Hallmark mysteries.

ANGI: Champagne or Soda?
DONNA: Both are great depending on the occasion.

ANGI: Geek or Jock?
DONNA:  Oh I love a cute geek – even though I guess my hero would fit more into the jock category. But I considered him a geek – in the best way – at heart.

ANGI’s GOTTA ASK:  SHOW ME YOUR FAVORITE SHOES… and tell us why they’re important.
DONNA’S GOTTA ANSWER:   I love my Sketchers because they are comfy and I do a lot of walking

"My favorite  part of Halloween is the pumpkin carving and when my children were little, dressing them up in costumes I’d sewn. Halloween only really came to be big in the UK in the past 20 years, but I made sure I had brought some of the American traditions over.  My second Halloween over here (1989), I went looking for pumpkins and the local supermarket was selling pieces of cut pumpkin. They used scoop up rutabagas to make jack o’lanterns in the North East of England!" ~ Michelle Styles
