Get Your Shift on !!

NYT and USA Today best-selling author, ROBYN PETERMAN writes because the people inside her head won’t leave her alone until she gives them life on paper. She writes snarky, sexy, funny paranormal and snarky, sexy, funny contemporaries. Her addictions include laughing really hard with friends, shoes (the expensive kind), Target, Coke Zero Cherry with extra ice in a Styrofoam cup, bejeweled reading glasses, her kids, her super-hot hubby and collecting stray animals. A former professional actress, with Broadway, film and T.V. credits, she now lives in the south with her family and too many animals to count. Writing gives her peace and makes her whole, plus having a job where she can work in her underpants works really well for her.

WERE ME OUT
Shift Happens, book 4

Why do I have to have my tail in a knot for the one hot, sexy Werewolf who can’t seem to keep his Johnson in his pants?

I’m a nice girl—really I am. I’m just a typical computer-hacking, knife-throwing, Star Trek-obsessed, overeducated Werewolf nerd who can’t seem to get her love life to compute.

However, it’s time to grow up and face the music or more accurately the man I’m in love with… Junior aka Jacob Wilson—the Alpha of the Georgia Pack. First I’ll have to stand up to some nasty gals who’s pants are so tight I can see their religion. Then I'll claim my man.

What should be an easy feat, gets sucktastic when you throw in a three hundred year old fabulous gay Vampyre, an antiquated motherboard from the 90’s and a challenge from the vicious, deadly Alabama Pack. Not to mention a libido that is out of control. Mine.

So I’m just gonna dive in—head first and eyes closed. Love conquers all. Right? As long as reality doesn’t wear me out, I plan to win.

YOU'RE SEEING IT HERE FIRST !!

“That was a nard hole move,” Junior shouted at his deputies as I winced and tried to slip from the room unnoticed.
As the computer-hacker-guru-extraordinaire slash the gal who made sure the office didn’t go to hell in a hand basket, I was usually exempt from Junior’s displeasure. But that didn’t mean I wanted to witness it.
Junior was generally a laid back good ‘ole boy, but when pissed people tended to duck and cover. Not many wanted to induce the wrath of the stupidly handsome, six foot four brainiac. As Alpha Werewolf of the Georgia pack and Sheriff of Hung, he had a lot on his plate.
Bubba and Duke, the town’s deputies, hung their heads in shame and a healthy dose of fear. The asshats in trouble were Lion Shifters with an unhealthy penchant for attention—naked attention. Hence their latest stunt.
“Sorry,” Bubba mumbled as he sucker punched Duke in the head. “I told you we shouldn’t have done it.”
“No, you didn’t,” Duke countered, titty-twisting his partner in crime. “It was your dang idea—well kinda.”
“Daggonnit, you’re right,” Bubba agreed, slapping Duke’s hand away while still getting a covert forehead smack in.
“I do not get paid enough for this shit,” Junior groused, running his hands through his hair and holding his temper in check.
Simply another abnormally normal day in the Hung Police Department.
My biggest problem at the moment? I wanted to jump the Sheriff’s bones—very bad idea. He was hotter that hell when he was mad. Wait… he was hotter than hell all the time.
Quit. I needed to quit. This was a disaster waiting to happen. I’d have no one to thank but myself if I didn’t march my sorry ass out of the Junior’s office and get a new job—and a life.
Going unnoticed by Junior was almost next to impossible. He had it in his thick, and unfortunately very good-looking head, that we were meant to be.
He was incorrect—wildly incorrect.
I wasn’t meant to be mated with a man-whore who couldn’t keep his pecker in his pants no matter how good looking or smart… or hot. Nope, I was sensible. I was a good girl for the most part who would mate with a Werewolf who was a gentleman. Of course using the term gentleman and Werewolf in the same sentence was an oxymoron, but whatever.
I would have two children and I would bake cookies and go to PTA meetings. My mate would have a job that didn’t require guns or wrangling naked deputies. He’d come home at five and ask me about my day. I was going to have a normal, horribly predictable, boring practical life.
Shit—the thought of that future sucked.
I was in big trouble.

WHAT DO FANS LOVE ABOUT THE WERE SERIES?

GET YOUR SHIFT ON
ANGI: What do you like about the hero of WERE ME OUT?
ROBYN: Everything!! LOL. He’s hot, smarter than hell and a good ‘ole boy. Junior aka Jacob Wilson is the perfect guy—funny, sweet and has an ass you could bounce a quarter off of!

ANGI: If your heroine sat at your desk…Would she like what’s there?
ROBYN: Sandy is waaaaay more tech savvy than I am. She would probably get a bit bored with my profane troll collection and my vast array of Lip Smackers. However, she would love the gadgets I’ve ammassed and most likely be able to make them all work better than I can.

ANGI: Who’s your favorite WERE character in the SHIFT HAPPENS series?
ROBYN: That’s a Sophie’s Choice question!! LOL. I can’t pick a favorite child. I will say that Dwayne (my fabulous gay 300 year old vampyre) is quite the hit with my readers and all the Shifters in the series!!

ANGI: What animal would Hugh Jackman shift to?
ROBYN: On Monday, Wednesday and Friday he’d be a smexy wolf. On Tuesday and Thursday he’d be a gorgeous lion. On the weekends he’d be a cuddly puppy.

ANGI: Where will the SHIFT HAPPEN world go next?
ROBYN: To AUDIO!!!! The Shift Happens Series will be coming out on audio this year and as far as the next book goes…..Essie and Hank have to take a little trip to Chicago.

ANGI: If you “were” to shift…what would you be?
ROBYN: A dragon.

ANGI: If Batman were to shift…?
ROBYN: A kitten with wings.

ANGI: Favorite Werewolf movie?
ROBYN: An American Werewolf in London.

ANGI’S GOTTA ASK: Last year you shared an item from your bucket list: Taking a cooking class in France or Italy. It would combine traveling and eating—two of my favorite things. Did you get to it? Or care to share another bucket list item?

ROBYN’S GOTTA ANSWER: No, I haven’t done it yet!!! I have two amazing teenagers and my vacations are to their out of town activities with sports!!! I’ll get to my cooking class in a few years. BUT I would also LOVE to see the Northern Lights—big bucket list thing for me.

MAGIC & MAYHEM KINDLE WORLD

There's nothing normal about Zelda, a witch whose job is to control the forces of Magic and Mayhem, and use her power for healing. But some say she creates the mayhem part, and maybe they're somewhat right. After spending nine months in the witch pokey for using her powers irresponsibly, Zelda is out on magical parole. Ready to dump the orange jumpsuit, she sets off on her latest mission: avenge the death of her Aunt Hildy, maintain the magical balance, and take over as the Shifter Whisperer. This all turns out to be far easier said than done, though. While healing the idiotic and violence prone proves both painful and wildly rewarding, Zelda must also contend with the hotter than hot Werewolf King, Mac, who's convinced Zelda is his mate. As Zelda chases her happily ever after, she tries to help tons of wonderfully warped characters who need all the fixing they can get. Are you up for the bewitching challenge? There's enough Magic and Mayhem here for everyone to join Zelda in her crazy world.

What's a Kindle World?
In Robyn's own words...

It’s basically fan fiction written by some amazing authors that I stalked and blackmailed! KIDDING! I was lucky and blessed to have some brilliant authors say yes! They have written brand new stories using my world and some of my characters. And let me tell you…the results are hilarious!
xoxo Robyn

Describe your story in five words: Loving family fosters troubled boy

TERESA J. REASOR
Have Wand, Will Travel

Favorite Magical element of your story: My soul sucking wand. He has a personality.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Zaira’s familiar, Cerbie. He’s a distant relative of Cerberus the dog that guarded the gates of hell. I think he has all the characteristics of his ancestor and a wicked irreverent sense of humor.

Describe your story in five words: Laugh-out-loud sexy fun.

JULIA MILLS
Heidi: A 'Not-Quite' Hellhound Love Story
The 'Not-Quite' Love Story Series Book 5

Favorite Magical element of your story: The characters trip back to Hell via the Lady Bug Express and Trixie's unconventional magic!

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Heidi and Hunter 'caught in the act' by Auntie Matilda - the farting, burping yente in a fluorescent orange muumuu with curlers in her hair and an answer for everything.

Describe your story in five words: Irreverent, magical mayhem and mischief!

H.M. McQUEEN
Reality Shift
Southern Shift Book 2

Favorite Magical element of your story: In Reality Shift, my favorite magical moment is when Jill agrees to go out with her ex against her better judgement.  The chemistry between them is off the charts. Jill hopes for a commitment from the hunky vampire, I know all the readers will too.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: The pack run becomes a hot mess and my favorite mayhem moment. When Jill forgets to take off her blouse and trips while shifting, a panther shifter runs after her and is chased up a tree by a pack of wolves.  Meanwhile, a vampire rushes in to try to save the panther, but ends up being bitten in the butt by a wolf and chased off.  Jill, the panther and the vampire end up having to explain what they were doing to the pack leaders.

Describe your story in five words: Rabbit, Vamp, Camera, Sex and Kidnapped

DONNA McDONALD
To Yaga or Not to Yaga
Baba Yaga Saga Book 3

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Carol and Hildy go to fight demons, but end up fighting a third Baba Yaga witch who has gone over to the dark side.

Describe your story in five words: To Baba Yaga… or not.

CHERIE MARKS
Wicked Is As Wicked Does

Favorite Magical element of your story: I loved how my badass heroine, Evie, was a big sap when it came to her magical familiar, a cat named Clooney! Named after Nick, not George, surprisingly.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Oh, so many! Probably when Evie meets some of the shifters and Fat Bastard. She's not quite sure what to make of them, but it was so fun to write that scene.

Describe your story in five words: Always love who you are!

RENEE GEORGE
Witchin' Impossible 2: Rogue Coven
Witchin' Impossible Mysteries

Favorite Magical element of your story: My favorite magical element in Rogue Coven is when my main character Haze Kinsey tries to heat her cup of coffee with a little magic, and she ends up burning a hole through the granite topped center island, the floor of the house, and possibly right through the earth’s core. I’m almost certain there’s a few Chinese citizens with burnt toesies right now.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Clowns.

Describe your story in five words: Hocuspocus, high-jinks, BFF-banter,  schmatlzy-smooshing, and daring-action. (Some of my best magic was turning ten words into five).

SARANNA DeWYLDE
Risky Witchness

Favorite Magical element of your story: All of it? I can't pick one magical element. It's all wild and I had such a great time writing this. *whispers* Okay, I lied. It's the insta-orgasm powers my demon has at the snap of his fingers after he gets his power back.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: This one was much easier. Shifter strippers. I mean, can you imagine a giant bear shaking his cakes on a pole?

Describe your story in five words: A nutball, sexy good time.

CLAUDY CONN
Witchin' Hard

Favorite Magical element of your story: I love mind-linking between the characters. I suppose because when hubby walks into the kitchen with muddy boots, I am hoping he can hear what I didn't say.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Fat Bastard. I can just picture him strut his stuff.

Describe your story in five words: Sexy, funny, tricky, witchy--oh and did I say sexy?

BARBRA ANNINO
Witches Be Crazy
Stacy Justice Magical Mysteries Book 0

Favorite Magical element of your story: The notion of New Magic vs. Old Magic and how the two should never be mixed.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Three fat cats sitting on a porch drinking beer and gambling. The animals in the Stacy Justice world aren't humanized to that degree.

Describe your story in five words: The worst road trip ever.

ISABEL MICHEALS
Witch N' Fire

Favorite Magical element of your story: Zara can freeze people.

Favorite Mayhem element of your story: Boba Fett, Jango Fett and Fat Bastard can deflect magic and turn it back on the evil person.
