favorite super power? Being able to produce a meal with multiple side dishes/sauces where everything is done at the same time. I’m convinced this is a superpower that can only be achieved by making a deal with the devil.

RACHEL:When Sienna and Rhys dance right before midnight at the Midnight Sun festival.

What's your favorite MIDNIGHT experience?

RACHEL: Ten years ago, a dear friend called me at around 11:00 pm and told me her labor had started. We knew her labor would be short (4^th child), and she’d planned a home birth, so I raced to her house, arriving not long before the two midwives. I was actually in the (very large) bathtub with her, holding her shoulders through her last contractions. Right after the baby was born, I jumped out of the tub to get out of the way… and happened to check the clock and noted the time: 11:58. Because they were busy with mother and baby, the midwives didn’t note the time until several minutes later. If I hadn’t checked, the sweet little guy would’ve had the wrong birthday.

LILIANA: I'm usually working at midnight, but sometimes I'll get in the car in my pajamas and drive to town to grab a chocolate shake. Does that count?

TRISH: The bedside scene in the hospital where the hero and heroine admit their past mistakes and agree to start anew.

What's your favorite MIDNIGHT experience?

TRISH: That would be a night 10 years ago. Luna, my then five month old golden retriever puppy, woke me at midnight, or soon after, by frantically barking and pawing at me. When I awoke I found Bette, my eleven year old golden retriever, in anaphylactic shock . Luna woke me up early enough to administer the meds necessary to save Bette’s life.
