FATAL FALLOUT party, part deux!

Today, I want to talk about my heroines.  In my day job, I teach microbiology at a local college. Because science is what I know best, my heroines all have some type of science or medical job. Kelly, from DEADLY CONTACT, is a microbiologist.  Claire, from FATAL FALLOUT, is a nuclear physicist who works for an organization that monitors the safety of nuclear power plants.  And Jillian, from LETHAL LIES (coming in December!) is an ER physician.

These are smart, confident women who know what they want.  But although their careers focus on science and technology, never fear.  My heroines understand that not everyone speaks their language, so they talk just like you and me. :)

When I went to the RWA National conference a few weeks ago, I thought it would be fun to bring along a little something that represents the kind of books I write--romantic suspense with a scientific twist.  Meet Mini:

I had a blast taking pictures of her in different situations!  We ate, we drank, we had fun, and Mini even found herself a boyfriend!
