FLASH Q&A
ANGI: Beach or Mountains
LENA: Familiarity breeds contempt. I’ve lived within 30 minutes of the beach most of my life. I choose mountains! Preferably the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

ANGI: Salad or Soup
LENA: Salad, unless it’s cold out. Then definitely soup.
ANGI: Hiking or Spa Day
LENA: Hiking! Never been to a spa. Never want to.
ANGI: Australia or Africa
LENA: Down under, no question! G’Day, mate!
ANGI: Tea or Coffee
LENA: Blech to both. Diet Dr. Pepper please. Except when they have those really stupid Diet Dr. Pepper commercials. Then I hide my glass in mortification.
ANGI: I'm with you on this...but I'd be "blech" on DP. I was a Coke girl, but am proud to say I'll be soda-free for 6 years next month.
ANGI: Army or Navy
LENA: Go Navy! Dad was a career Navy man, E9, Master Chief. He was also my hero. We lost him to cancer when I was 20. He was 47. I miss him. Every. Single. Day.

As an agent of the Equalizers, Jace Atwell will risk everything to destroy EXIT Inc., the corrupt antiterrorist group, before more innocent lives are lost. The only way to infiltrate EXIT is by getting close to the CEO's beautiful daughter, but when they get a little too close, Jace finds himself falling for the woman he is duty-bound to deceive.
Whatever clandestine activities EXIT is involved in, Melissa Cardenas refuses to believe that her father is responsible and is determined to prove it. So when sexy, smooth-talking Jace comes clean about his motives, Melissa drops a bombshell of her own: she's been investigating too—and she wants to help him find the truth.
The chemistry between Melissa and Jace is undeniable, but their opposing views of justice make teamwork tricky. With their lives on the line—and the truth something neither of them expected—the only way to survive will be to trust their hearts and each other . . . if they can.

LENA WANTS TO KNOW: It seems like every romance that comes out lately is part of a series. Is that a good thing? Or do you wish the whole series trend would go away?
I like series books and hope they continue
ReplyDeleteThanks Tammy!
ReplyDeleteIt depends for me... if it is a series that really grabs a hold on me then I enjoy it... but one thing I am not a fan of are books that break up over so many pieces... I want a story that gives me a HEA... not something I have to wait through so many books for before I find out what happens.
ReplyDeleteColleen, I totally agree. I need an HEA In a romance. I expect a new main couple in every story, including a series.
DeleteI like reading a series but I look forward to a new couple in each story. This way I can look forward to each hero or heroine getting their own HEA.
DeleteThanks Joan!
Deletelike a series only if each book in the series is a standalone
ReplyDeleteVery good point!
DeleteWELCOME BACK FRIEND !!!
