Nearly a year ago, I was invited to join a "takeover." I wasn't sure what that meant, but I agreed it sounded like fun. The next thing I knew I'd signed up for a multi-author project with twenty New York Times, USA Today and Amazon bestselling authors. Talk about being in good company!
The project became Magnolias and Moonshine, a collection of twenty Contemporary Romance novellas set in Atlanta, which has launched one each day since April 10. (We've featured two of the authors here on GLIAS -- Ciara Knight and Beth Williamson -- along with our very own Amanda McIntyre, whose book, Georgia On My Mind, debuted this past week.)
Tomorrow, I'll celebrate the release of my new--and first--Contemporary Romance, Maybe Baby, #16
in the Magnolias and Moonshine collection.
in the Magnolias and Moonshine collection.
As part of the celebration, I'll be hosting our Magnolias and Moonshine Facebook page all day to share a little about my writing, some fun facts about my Southern relatives, along with an exclusive giveaway.
In fact, every author participating in the series is highlighted on their release day. You can get in on the #giveaways every day from now through April 30.
Magnolias and Moonshine at the RT Booklover's Convention
So back to that idea of a takeover. Our not-so-secret plan called for writing a series inspired by the location where RT would be holding it's next convention--Atlanta--and launch this series in conjunction with RT and host a big celebration.
If you'll be at the RT Convention this year, don't miss our County Fair-themed party on Friday night! Trust me, it's going to be amazing.
The first hundred people will be greeted with a ticket for a free Magnolias and Moonshine specialty cocktail, and the first 400 guests will receive a commemorative tote bag ready to be filled with amazing swag that each author will be giving away. And everyone who attends will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win many door prizes that will be raffled off throughout the evening. While you're scooping up free giveaways, play fun games, win prizes and enjoy live music courtesy of 2014 Georgia Country Male Artist of the Year, Thomas Fountain.
Last, but not least, you can enter a special drawing for a Kindle Fire along with all 20 novellas in the series. You get extra points for tweeting and sharing.

Join me tomorrow for more fun facts about the series and my new book, Maybe Baby.
In the meantime, share your favorite Southern phrase. It can be something your family used (I have a whole dictionary of family favorites), or something you've heard or read.
I'll pick one commenter at random for a FREE copy of Maybe Baby. (be sure to leave your email if you want to be included in the drawing).
