THE REALM OF HONOR

A KNIGHT LIKE NO OTHER
Book 4

Will the knight of her heart be able to save her from evil’s plan?

By the king’s order, Princess Sobriel is betrothed to Lord-Regent Marath, an Elven noble with an evil agenda who’s manipulated his way into royal favor. Marrying him will be a fate worse than death, especially when Sobriel yearns for the sexy and irresistible Sir Drake—the knight who holds her heart. A knight she is forbidden to love. She flees her family to be with Drake, giving up everything she knows for him.

Enraged at her defiance, Marath summons a mage to kidnap and kill Sobriel. Drake, determined to protect the woman he loves, will stop at nothing to see her safe. Their desire for one another burns hot and nothing can keep the two lovers apart. Nothing but Marath’s evil plan to do away with the Fae and separate Drake and Sobriel forever.

A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER

Book 3
The Goddess of War is out for Queen Maeve’s blood to satisfy a thousand-year-old vendetta. And the only one that can save her is a human masquerading as a Fae knight.

Henry Chase is desperate to find his daughter lost in the Highlands. When he steps through a stone circle, he’s transported to the Otherworld. With his human form hidden by glamour, he masquerades as a Fae knight. He’s instantly besotted by Queen Maeve and determined to break down the walls she’s erected around her heart.

In the aftermath of war, Queen Maeve’s kingdom has been destroyed. She must close the portals to the human realm and restore her lost magic. But before she can set things straight, her archenemy, the Goddess of War, attacks, seeking revenge.

When the goddess captures the queen, Henry offers his life for Maeve’s in the hope his bravery will earn the queen’s love. Discovering Henry is human and knowing she must send him back to his world, Maeve tries to fight her feelings for him. Now she must choose—life at court or life with Henry—before she loses him forever.

ONLY FOR A KNIGHT
Book 2
The Sword of Light is missing. Innocent Fae nobles are slaughtered. And now someone wants Princess Elyne’s head.

After saving her love, Princess Elyne returns to the Otherworld by order of her mother. But it’s not the homecoming she expects. Furious Elyne has meddled with humans, the queen imprisons her and strips away her magic. The only way Elyne can get it back is to perform one selfless act.

When Queen Maeve sends Derron to find the Guardian of the Sword of Light, he can’t leave without releasing Elyne. After all, she altered time to save his life. But freeing the princess comes with a steep price—he must take her with him on this dangerous quest. And the two must deal with feelings of past hurt and the love growing between them.

Their search becomes more than a pursuit for the missing Guardian as Lord Kieran rises to dominate the Unseelie court. He will stop at nothing to gain control of both the Otherworld and the human realm. Even with the help of Elves, dragons and their human friends, the odds are stacked against Derron and Elyne.

ONE KNIGHT ONLY
Book 1
A snarky Faery princess, a Scottish knight with a gambling problem, and a murderous earl all add up to one thing: Trouble. Maggie’s medieval education never prepared her for life in the Middle Ages!

Do-gooder Maggie Chase throws her thesis out the window when she wakes up in the arms of a hot Scottish knight. When she realizes she’s somehow ended up back in time, she embraces the persona of Lady Margaret. But she may be in over her head when she realizes she has to keep the sexy knight alive during a jousting tournament in order to get back to her own time.

Sir Finian “Finn” McCullough is a gambling man and owes a very large debt to an evil earl who is after his family estate. When the beautiful and outgoing Maggie arrives in his bed, he can’t remember tupping her the night before and thinks she’s a spy for one of his neighboring clans. He intends to find her kinsman and return her safely but he can’t resist her charms, her smart mouth or her sex appeal. Instead he keeps her close, taking her with him to an important jousting tournament—one he has to win or lose his castle forever.

BELIEVE IN THE REALM
ANGI: What is the Realm of Honor?
MICHELLE: It’s a magical place. A place where chivalry and honor still thrive. Where faeries and elves and dragons live. Where peace has reigned for thousands of years until a medaling faery princess alters time, setting into motion events that turn the Otherworld upside down. With the threat of war from long-dead and long-forgotten enemies, humans, Elves, Fae and dragons are forced to take up arms together. And when the lives of the knights’ ladies are threatened, they will do whatever it takes to protect them.

ANGI: What inspired your four heroines?
MICHELLE: Maggie (ONE KNIGHT ONLY) was actually a different character altogether in the first draft of the book. I’d started writing it as a straight historical back in 2005 but it never really worked. Plus she kept popping off with modern day phrases. After some long, hard thinking, I realized the book was actually a time travel. Maggie became the character she was meant to be. Her best friend was a faery princess, Elyne (ONLY FOR A KNIGHT), who was very stuck-up and hardheaded. And Elyne’s mother, Maeve (A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER), was a lot like her. ;) And Sobriel (A KNIGHT LIKE NO OTHER) was desperate for a happy ending with her human knight, Drake. They all sort of flowed from the creation of Maggie, so we can blame her for all their adventures and falling in love. And there is lots of adventure in these books.

ANGI: Do you have a favorite hero from the Realm of Honor?
MICHELLE: Oh, that’s a hard question! I love them all! But I’m particular fond of Finn, from ONE KNIGHT ONLY. He’s a Scottish laird and oh-so-sexy. He stomps around trying not to get killed and curses things like “God’s teeth!” I think that’s my favorite thing he says.

ANGI: Did you model your heroes after anyone in particular?
MICHELLE: Sexy men? Just kidding. I like alpha males. So I tend to lean that direction when creating a new hero. I like their brute strength, their fierce protectiveness. Drake (A KNIGHT LIKE NO OTHER) is a little on the “softer” side—he’s VERY noble and believes in the honorable code of being a knight. He refuses to take advantage of Sobriel and I think that’s rather sweet. I really like him too.

ANGI: What are the Guardians of Atlantis?
MICHELLE: They are a group of men sworn to protect the secret of Atlantis. But when the evil Dr. Franco, a geneticist, wants to mix human DNA with Atlantean DNA to save their dying race, the Guardians are faced with a moral decision.

ANGI: What inspired your three heroines?
MICHELLE: I wanted strong women. Women who were not afraid to stick their neck out for their friends. I wanted them to be kick-ass and tough as nails but still kinda soft. Eden is the human woman who falls hard and fast for Sabre. Eve has a secret, one that she’s not willing to expose until Lucian’s life depends on it. And Helene is nursing a broken heart, one that only Raven can heal.

ANGI: Do you have a favorite hero from the Guardians of Atlantis?
MICHELLE: I love Raven. Strong, stubborn, a man of little words. Takes what he wants. MEOW!
ANGI: What is your favorite song of all time?
MICHELLE: Hm. Hard to pick one. I’m a Beatles fan and have been for a long time. There are several I love from their collected works. I also love Paul McCartney and my all-time favorite song from him is Maybe I’m Amazed.
ANGI: What's your favorite Spring Break Trip?
MICHELLE: It wasn’t a spring break trip – but a summer vacation. Husband, son and I drove up to South Dakota, camped in the Black Hills and visited Mount Rushmore, Devil’s Tower and the Badlands. It was so fun! I’d do it again in a second.

ANGI’S GOTTA ASK: I heard through the grapevine that you’re releasing a serial this summer. Are you excited? First let our readers know just what a serial story is and let us know a little about the characters.
MICHELLE'S GOTTA ANSWER I’m TOTALLY excited! It’s going to be awesome. A serial story is released in weekly issues. Sort of like episodic television. You keep tuning in every week because you want to see what happens to your favorite characters, right? This is the same way. The first issue will be FREE and released sometime in June. It’s an urban fantasy. Since I can’t find cover art I like, I’m trying to arrange a photo shoot for it. It’s still in progress and all the details haven’t been ironed out yet. BUT readers can get a sneak preview of the story here FIRST!

TWO STEPS FROM HELL
Zoë Cavanaugh—immortal dream walker, sleep therapist and occasional consultant in homicide investigations—that’s me. I stay under the radar and try to help others get rid of their nightmares.

Until a black-winged fallen angel insists I use my talents to find the Horn of Gabriel, one of the five Holy Relics. Even worse? His counterpart in Heaven, a messenger angel, wants to hire me for the same job.

Torn between good and evil, I’m trapped in my own nightmare uncovering a family prophecy claiming I’m the Keeper of the Holy Relics. Accepting that position means I accept my duty as the one—the only one—who can stop the coming war between two ultimate powers that can save or destroy mankind.

Can a girl get a break here? Now I must make the most important choice of my immortal life. Embrace my job as Keeper and secure the artifacts before Lucifer and his minions take them to Hell, or turn my back on Heaven’s angels and my destiny. Either way I’m pretty sure I’m screwed.
