FATAL FALLOUT party wrap-up!

It's me again!  It's time to wrap up the party, so let's go out on a fun note!

Before I moved home to Texas, I lived in the Washington, D.C. area for about 6 years.  I fell in love with the region, so much so that I set my first three books in the city!

Here's a look at some of the places you'll read about in FATAL FALLOUT!

This is the FBI building in D.C., where Thomas works.  As you can see, it's HUGE.

Claire's office overlooks Farragut Square, which is a few blocks away from the White House.

And finally, here's The Armory.  A climactic scene takes place just outside, and that's all I'm going to say :)

So tell me, do you prefer books set in a city or in a small town?  Leave a comment for your chance to win today's copy of FATAL FALLOUT!

Torn between duty and desire, two strangers must risk all for love

Nuclear physicist Dr. Claire Fleming has one rule: never get close to anyone. But when her colleague is murdered and she's targeted next, she must place all her trust in FBI agent Thomas Kincannon. Soon Claire forgets her tenet as she fantasizes about Thomas's touch.

Thomas is wildly attracted to Claire. But his life and his job are too complicated for any romantic entanglements. Despite this, they share a mind-blowing kiss, and there's no turning back. When Thomas's niece is abducted, the stakes become dangerously higher as Claire insists he trade her for the child. Somehow, Thomas must find a way to rescue his family and protect the woman who let her protective walls down just for him.

  1. I don't mind where a book is set. I want it to be appropriate to the story of course.

    1. I agree--I don't like the setting to pull me out of the story!

  2. I love small town romances and city ones too! Its the characters that make a book for me - although sometimes the backdrop can almost ne a character in itself .. ie somewhere creepy!
