ANGI: A scene without any dialogue between the hero and heroine. Hard to write, but my favorite.
What's your favorite MIDNIGHT experience?
ANGI: camping in Logan, New Mexico. There had to be a gazillion stars.

favorite super power? Time Travel - mostly because I need at least 36 hours in a day to do everything I want to do.
blood moon or blue moon? Blood Moon – I’ve got vampires in my books, what else can I say?
What shade of midnight is the NIGHT OF THE JAGUAR?
ROBIN: My shade of midnight is jade – it’s an inspiring and uplifting color suggesting trust and confidentiality, and worldly wisdom and understanding. Unless you flip it on its head. In my world, you experience the magic and the mystery of the Maya...and the betrayal that led to its destruction.
Without spoilers, can you share with readers your favorite scene in NIGHT OF THE JAGUAR?
ROBIN: I think my favorite scene in Night of the Jaguar is early on in the story. My hero is doing what a hero does…he’s tracking a vampire. Okay…so it’s what paranormal heroes do. And just when he’s ready to the save the day…my heroine jumps in—and in a very unusual way. I love strong heroines, and Aiyana is one of my favorites. She is something special…but I can’t give away any more than that! Let’s just say it has to do with a Mayan temple, a jaguar and a stockbroker from 1920s New York.
What's your favorite MIDNIGHT experience?
ROBIN: I’m an early bird at heart…so I rarely see midnight, but I have one memory that was so “not me” I need to mention it. When I was in college, my friends and I attended a midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. For those who don’t know about that experience, it’s something to behold. The audience participates in the movie; bubbles, flashlights, newspapers, bells, and popcorn are just a few of the props. Not to mention those who dress up as characters. And of course, we all did the Time Warp. I’m a homebody at heart, a bit of a bookworm (okay, a lot of a bookworm) but this was one of my most memorable evenings! I think we should all grab onto the unusual sometimes. I guess that’s what this paranormal anthology is about, isn’t it: a lot of the unusual! And 12 Shades of Fun!

What shade of midnight is The SCHOOL?
ANN: Onyx. It’s black, yet smooth. The School has some scary elements to be sure, although it’s not bloody or gruesome.
Without spoilers, can you share with readers your favorite scene in THE SCHOOL?
ANN: Every scene that the little boy, Josh, is in. Especially at the end. But I can’t tell you without spoilers!
What's your favorite MIDNIGHT experience?
ANN: In college, my best buddy and I used to love going out to see live bands. Often we’d go at midnight, because the cover charges were cheaper (poor college students, you know), and yet we still had two hours of music to enjoy before bar time.
