Currently working on her urban fantasy series, A Demon Huntress, KARILYN BENTLEY blends magic, dark fantasy and romance mixed with a touch of funny that her readers expect and love.

Karilyn's love of reading stories and preference of sitting in front of a computer at home instead of in a cube, drove her to pen her own works. Her paranormal romance novella, Werewolves in London, placed in the Got Wolf contest and started her writing career as an author of sexy heroes and lush fantasy worlds.

Karilyn lives in Colorado with her own hunky hero, a crazy dog, aka The Kraken, a funny puppy, and a handful of colorful saltwater fish.

ANGI: Karilyn, this is the fourth book in the Demon Huntress novels. What do you like best about your heroine, Gin Crawford?

Karilyn: She's snarky and does things I wouldn't dare do!

ANGI: What’s your favorite thing about your book’s hero?

Karilyn: He's honest and trustworthy.

ANGI: Did you see the latest THOR movie? Like it or hate it?

Karilyn: No not yet! But I want to! I like Thor. <fans self>

ANGI: What’s your perfect day?

Karilyn: I'd grab a cup of coffee or tea and sit out on the deck while reading a book. And no one would disturb me. The last point is probably the most important. <g>

ANGI: Salad or soup?

Karilyn: Both! It depends on my mood.

ANGI: Hiking or Poolside?

Karilyn: Hiking!

ANGI: Favorite date night…fancy or at home? 

Karilyn: Fancy dinner!

ANGI: Champagne or Soda?

Karilyn: Champagne. I don't like soda.

ANGI: Apples or Bananas?

Karilyn: Apples

ANGI’s GOTTA ASK:  Where is your favorite writing space & why?

KARILYN’S GOTTA ANSWER:  While I have a desk and used to always write there, since we moved my desk is in my hubby's work office so I now work at the kitchen table. I still use the desk if there's too much going on in the kitchen. But I like working in the kitchen. The lighting is better and the view rocks.
