ANGI: Favorite thing about your hero, Julian Mercer
TYLER: He’s massive! He’s the tallest, most-muscled,
and toughest hero I’ve ever written. The heroine, and several other characters,
often refer to him as “a mountain of a man” and it’s just so much fun
considering his personality is calm, collected, and a bit more quiet than most.
His size and skills are only matched by his pure devotion to fighting to keep
Madi and their unborn child safe. I honestly picture him as a giant teddy bear…A
giant teddy bear who could take you out with his pinky finger if need be.
ANGI: Favorite thing about your heroine,
Madeline Nash
TYLER: One thing I enjoy about all of the Winding Road Redemption books is we get to see how an early trauma has completely changed who the Nash siblings were at a young age. Because of this Madi always has an internal war going on between her head and her heart. Her head wants to keep doing what she’s had to do in life to cope while her heart wants that happy ending. Madi Nash is very much the embodiment of – Do we keep what we have because we know it works for the most part or do we take a chance and see the potentially better thing that’s behind Door #2? Adding in the fact that she’s pregnant and Madi is just a wonderfully complicated character that you really want to root for!

TYLER: There’s several fight and flight
moments when Madi and Julian are attacked at her inn that I sincerely had so
much fun writing! It highlights their skills, like Julian being a former
Marine, while also showing some of the points against them, like her being
pregnant and not being able to physically do as much as she once could. Still,
they work with what they have and it’s really something special and exciting!
ANGI: Favorite thing about writing
TYLER: Untangling the jumbled up scenes and ideas in my head and making them into a piece of work that makes sense so other people can see what I’m so pumped about! Telling a story that entertains others and makes them happy really is something I’ve always wanted to do…But mostly so I can share my own excitement with them!

Road Redemption series
TYLER: The series is connected through the Nash siblings but it’s also so much more than that. After the triplets were abducted and held captive for three days when they were eight, the series shows the triplets and their older brother as adults, still trying to find redemption, closure, and happiness. It’s my most family-oriented series and deals with the unspoken bonds between, not only family, but with people who have suffered and survived a trauma or tragedy together before. Each book has a mystery specific to that book while also serving that larger mystery that has basically shaped the entire Nash family and the small town they’ve always lived in. It’s probably the most touching series I’ve done yet and I really hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did writing it!
