Let me start my review with stating what a wonderful book this is. Bringing 18 accomplished authors together to write 18 new stories that flow one right after the other was genius. The stories follow each hockey player on a journey on their day with the 35 pound trophy and it's keeper after winning it all in the final game of the season. Every story in unique and the passion they find along the way is off the charts steamy,

Run, Jump, Skate and hurry and buy this book. You'll laugh, giggle and even shed a tear or more along the way. I truly enjoyed each and every one!!!

A fun & quirky read!

Hockey player Deacon Sanders has received some threats, but he’s not concerned. His family however is and secretly brings in bodyguard Brooke Henderson to keep an eye on him during The Cup festivities planned in his hometown. Can the persuasive powers of this unique bombshell bring this hunky guy to his knees?

You will get a bang for your buck, or rather 99 cents, with this really great anthology. All the stories center around the players of the New Orleans Cajun Rage hockey team. A team that has just won the Cup. Each story is engaging and you can’t go wrong with this list of authors.

Hot on Ice is a great box set that brings you 18 brand new sexy stories from fabulous bestselling authors. I have read Body Check by Desiree Holt, In Skates Trouble by Kate Meader, Bear Naked by Katie Kenyhercz, Blocked by Heather Long and Deep Check by Kimberly Kincade. I have loved every single one of them and can’t wait to read the rest.  Make sure you pick this box set up you won’t be disappointed!

I am a hockey romance addict, so when I saw this anthology I had to have it.  I have read a lot of anthologies, what I liked the most about this one is that it had a common theme.  Each novella was about a different NHL player on the recent Stanley Cup Championship team the New Orleans Cajun Rage.  The stories were about the individual player’s day with the Cup and a legend about them finding their true love on their day.  I love how all the books were clearly coordinated. Players were mentioned in each other’s books, and Edwin Motz, the Keeper of the Cup, made an appearance in the stories.  Even though each tale had a common theme, every story was amazingly different, enjoyable, and exciting.  I like that some of the authors tied their books to existing series.  I love that 20% of the royalties earned goes to the Homes For Our Troops charity, a nonprofit organization that builds mortgage-free, specially modified homes for severely injured veterans.

This book was quite the heavenly literary find for me, 18 glorious stories about sexy hockey players finding their happily ever afters, I have to say it totally spoke to me on so many levels... first being about my favorite sport, hockey, then it's eighteen individual stories to devour by some of my favorite authors, and finally the opportunity to help out a good cause! Each story is packed with heartwarming content, toe curling romance, and an alpha that is sure to score a special spot in your heart, I should know I now have 18 new book boyfriends!!

Hot on Ice is a great collection of hockey themed romances and well i'm telling you you wont be able to put it down. I haven't slept much in the past 24 hours but I have to say it was well worth it.

I’m ANDIE J. CHRISTOPHER and I write edgy, funny, sexy contemporary romance. I grew up in a family of voracious readers, and I picked up my first Harlequin Romance novel at age twelve when I’d finished reading everything else in my grandmother’s house. It was love at first read. It wasn’t too long before I started writing my own stories — my first heroine drank Campari and wore a lot of Esprit.

Although, I set aside writing fiction for a while, my love of reading romance novels stayed with me through college, law school, and multiple cross-country moves. During one long East Coast winter, I decided writing a book would be a good excuse to avoid braving the elements. It was love at first write. My heroes are dirty-talking alphas, and my heroines traded Esprit for Free People. (None of them would turn down a Campari, though.)

TELL THE TRUTH

ANGI: How often to you get lost in a story?

ANDIE: I get lost in a story at least once a week, either one I’m writing or one I’m reading. I know I’m onto something in my writing when hours seem to pass in seconds. It doesn’t happen every day, but it’s a very good day when it does. I’ve loved writing the One Night in South Beach series because I can get lost in one of my favorite places on earth!

 

ANGI: Hugh Jackman or Chris Pine?

ANDIE: Chris Pine. Now that he’s all beardy, I can’t get enough. He actually reminds me a bit of my hero, Cole Roberts, even though he wasn’t the original hero inspiration.

ANGI: What do you like about the hero of your book?

ANDIE: In my mom’s words, “there are no guys in real life like Cole Roberts.” Cole is not only a former Navy SEAL, but he’s crazy smart, and willing to take a chance and open himself up to Alana (the heroine) even though it’s complicated (he’s friends with her brother) and he’s been burned before. And he’s always going to make sure his woman’s needs (all of them) are fulfilled. He’s the total package.

ANGI: Sand or Snow?

ANDIE: Sand! There’s a reason I set STROKE OF MIDNIGHT in Miami. My best friend from college moved there with her now-husband after law school, and the first time I visited—for her engagement party—was pure magic. I fell in love with the people, the food, the atmosphere, and the weather was just icing on the cake. I love writing the One Night in South Beach series because I get to spend time in Miami whenever I want.

ANGI: What might we find in your heroine's purse?

ANDIE: In Alana’s purse, you’re going to find at least two or three lipsticks, extra underwear for when she has to sleep at her desk, designer sunglasses, and a cell phone with at least five missed calls from her baby sister.

ANGI: Would you rather be in a Fairy Tale or Action Adventure?

ANDIE: Personally? I would rather be in a fairy tale. I want to wear a gorgeous dress, dance with a prince, and get a castle in the end.

ANGI: What’s your favorite rerun on television?

ANDIE: I am actually super excited about the fact that the Golden Girls is going to be on Hulu on February 13. (I think I’ll be spending my Valentine’s Day in front of the TV with cheesecake).

ANGI: What drinks or snacks are always on your desk when you’re writing?

ANDIE: I always have water, and, if it’s before noon, coffee. (If it’s after five, there’s probably a glass of wine.)

ANGI’S GOTTA ASK: What’s one thing from your bucket list?

ANDIE  GOTTA ANSWER:   I don’t really have a bucket list. I’ve been lucky enough to visit wonderful places, see wonderful things, and befriend so many wonderful people just by following my passions that I’ve kind of learned to take things as they go.
